Terms and Conditions
Gemini Petfoods Ltd
Contract creation & acceptance
No orders are accepted until they are successfully processed and despatched.
We may refuse to process an order for any reason at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you or any third party for our refusal to process an order.
The contract is created by the successful completion of the following steps: - You place the order on our website by going through the ordering process on our website or on the telephone and receiving a valid order reference number. - We email you an order acknowledgement email detailing the products ordered and the billing and delivery information you have provided. This is not an order confirmation or order acceptance by Gemini Petfoods Ltd. - We process your order and despatch the products that make up your order. Your receipt will be emailed upon dispatch. Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place upon despatch of the products ordered unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have notified us that you wish to cancel your order.
Refusal to accept an order may be as a result of one or more of the following reasons: - unavailability of stock - the identification of a pricing error - the identification of a product description error - failure to obtain authorisation for your payment - failure to satisfy our security concerns as regards the billing and/or delivery address details provided - your failure to agree to any extra delivery charges where your requested delivery address is outside of the UK mainland This list is not exhaustive.
Order Cancellation
In accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations, an order can be cancelled in writing within 7 working days from the day after delivery.
Goods should be returned in their original packaging, intact and in perfect condition. If they are not returned in such a condition we retain the right to claim damages.
Please contact us for a returns address as goods will not be accepted at the sales office.
It will be your responsibility to return the goods to us. However, in some circumstances we may be able to collect the goods but please be aware that a charge will be made for this service (this charge will vary according to the size, dimension & value of the goods so please contact us for a quote).
Where there is nothing wrong with the goods in question we reserve the right to make a 20% restocking charge that will be applied before we authorise any refund.
Faulty Goods
If goods are delivered physically damaged or if there is a shortage/missing parts, this must be reported to us within a reasonable amount of time either by email (info@GeminiPetfoodsLtd.co.uk) or by phone (01344 623463). We advise that all goods are signed for as “unchecked” on the delivery driver’s schedule and that you examine the goods for any shortage or physical damage as soon as possible.
If goods have or develop a mechanical fault, please contact us either by email (info@GeminiPetfoodsLtd.co.uk) or by phone (01344 623463) and we will offer a refund, replacement or repair in accordance with the Sales of Goods Act 1979 as amended.
We strongly advise that you retain all original packaging in case of a return, replacement or repair.
Payment Options
Credit & Debit Cards
We accept all credit and debit cards with the exception of American Express.
Delivery
All items will only be delivered to UK mainland addresses. If an order has been placed for delivery to the Highlands or off the mainland, we will contact you to advise of the delivery charges at which time you can either agree to pay these or cancel the order.
Orders placed before 3:00pm on a weekday will usually be processed the next day.
Where an item is in stock, your order will usually be dispatched on the day of successful processing. Orders are usually delivered by nationwide couriers who will endeavour to deliver your parcel on the following weekday between 9:00am and 6:00pm.
A signature will be requested upon delivery. If there is no one at home to accept delivery of the goods, a calling card will be left by the couriers. You must contact the couriers immediately in order to arrange an alternative day for delivery. Sometimes, couriers will automatically attempt delivery again the next day. Please note that delivery will only be attempted twice free of charge. Thereafter, you would need to arrange collection from your local depot.
Our standard delivery times are Monday to Friday. Saturday deliveries can usually be arranged at an extra cost depending on the size and dimensions of the item. Please call us (01344 623463) or e-mail us (john@pf-kingdom.co.uk) for a quote.
Please note that accessories ordered on their own are sent out by Royal Mail or other couriers and do take 2-3 working days to be delivered.
Where an item ordered is not in stock, we will contact you within 2 working days in order to advise you of an estimated incoming date and to ascertain whether you are able to wait or whether you wish to cancel.
As we do not guarantee delivery for any specific time or date, we cannot be liable for any loss or inconvenience experienced as a result of delayed delivery or non-delivery.
General
We endeavour to respond to emails within 2 working days, however this may take longer during busy periods. If your enquiry is urgent we advise that you also contact us by phone on 01344 623463 (Mon-Fri 9:00-17:30).
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed according to English Law.
Although Gemini Petfoods Ltd will endeavour to ensure the accuracy of all information made available on the web site, neither Gemini Petfoods Ltd nor any directors, employees or other representatives will be liable for damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the use of this site.
All goods remain the property of Gemini Petfoods Ltd until paid for in full.
We endeavour to respond to complaints within five working days.
By purchasing a product you are agreeing to the above terms and conditions.
None of the above affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
